Terms of Use

These Terms are an agreement between you and Sarah Elizabeth Davis, operating SaturnOS ("SaturnOS," "we," "us," or "our"), and govern your access to SaturnOS. By creating an account or using SaturnOS, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SaturnOS. External beta testers must be at least 18 years old. If you use SaturnOS for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.

2. Your account

Provide accurate account information, protect your password, and notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by law. SaturnOS may require email verification and may temporarily limit sign-in attempts to protect accounts.

3. Boards, invitations, and collaboration

Board owners control invitations and membership within plan limits. Only invite people authorized to see the board’s content. An invitation link may be forwarded; revoke pending invitations that should no longer be usable. Collaborators must respect each other’s information and may not use SaturnOS to harass, surveil, threaten, or expose another person.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give SaturnOS a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service. You represent that you have the right to submit the content and share it with the board members you select.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use SaturnOS to break the law; violate privacy or intellectual-property rights; upload malicious code; probe or bypass security; scrape or overload the service; impersonate another person; distribute spam; or create content that is abusive, exploitative, fraudulent, or dangerous. We may remove content or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, or legal rights.

6. Subscriptions and billing

SaturnOS may offer a free plan and paid auto-renewable subscriptions. Before purchase, the app displays the plan, included access, billing period, and localized price supplied by Apple. Paid subscriptions renew automatically for the displayed period until canceled through Apple.

• Purchases and refunds are processed under Apple’s applicable payment terms.
• You can restore eligible purchases inside SaturnOS.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple account settings.
• Deleting a SaturnOS account does not cancel an Apple subscription.
• Plan features and member limits shown before purchase form part of the offer.

On Apple platforms, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies except where these Terms lawfully supplement it.

7. Beta testing

Beta versions are pre-release software provided for evaluation and feedback. Features may be incomplete, change without notice, fail, or cause test data to be modified or reset. Do not use a beta for emergency, medical, safety-critical, or legally required recordkeeping. TestFlight purchases operate in Apple’s sandbox and do not create real charges; test subscription timing may be accelerated.

8. Calendar and notifications

Calendar events and notifications are convenience features. You control device permission and remain responsible for checking schedules, deadlines, assignments, and other obligations. Delivery may be delayed or unavailable due to device settings, connectivity, or third-party services.

9. Not medical or emergency services

SaturnOS is a planning and collaboration tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, emergency response, financial advice, or legal advice. Marketing SaturnOS as supportive of different planning styles does not make it a medical product. Seek qualified professional help when appropriate and contact emergency services in an emergency.

10. Ownership of SaturnOS

SaturnOS and its software, design, branding, and documentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of SaturnOS.

11. Availability and changes

We may update, add, suspend, or remove features and may perform maintenance. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Where practical, we will communicate material changes that affect paid access.

12. Account termination and deletion

You may delete your account from Profile settings. We may suspend or terminate access for a material or repeated violation of these Terms, unlawful conduct, threats to users or systems, or discontinuation of the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination remain effective.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SaturnOS is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties not expressly stated here. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SaturnOS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or opportunities. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the service changes. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice when required. If you do not agree to an update, stop using SaturnOS and delete your account before the update takes effect.

15. Applicable law

These Terms are governed by applicable United States law, without overriding consumer protections that apply in your place of residence. Any specific dispute-resolution provision must be agreed separately and will not be added without notice.
